coding is wack. on one hand you hold phenomenal power in a mostly code-illiterate society but on the other you sometimes have to spend 30 minutes getting one webpage to go to another webpage

react router is wack. there isn't a good way to redirect after submitting a form, you just have to do conditional rendering based on state... which is exactly what I'm trying to avoid by using react router

duh you can just do useHistory. why did I take so much effort to figure that out
